I can relate to this. It is particularly true when you're both on the job market.

You raise an interesting point Fraud: how much time should one spend with friends and peers who are also on the job market? It's a tricky issue and a situation that is not easy to navigate. I could see some full-length posts on that topic in the future.

I spent entirely too much time with others on the job market. I can tell you that. There are good and bad sides. It's nice to have someone who really understands what all your whining is about and who is in the same boat so they have to listen, but it stinks to feel like there's a constant competition, and to spend that much time amidst the whine.

Now living with someone who's also on the job market... I'd challenge someone to tell me any upside of that.

Scarlet, I agree, the Picture Secrets add quite a bit of color (even when B&W:) to a.secret so hopefully people will keep sending them in!
